Campbell said Adams had wanted to wait until after Monday’s funeral to contact the family, but by then, the family had hired DeBosier, and Adams refrained from making contact.

Absolutely. The post below yours is also possible. Again, I just skimmed the article and maybe I assumed she had spoken to the boyfriend and knew he was planning to ask. Probably bc he asked the dad for his blessing after she died. Seems that would be more appropriate if she was in agreement before the accident.

I hate to stick up for you but everyone on here should know that you are always consistent in situations like these. You always advocate waiting to judge until the facts come out and you also have been vindicated in more than one situation. Most logical people would take the same approach you do but TD sure does love a good lynch mob!

And let's not even talk about most logical people when most logical people who die in car accidents do so with some random arse Joe blow driving.
I don't know what this means, I am just saying NOBODY knows what happened that night yet other than this 23 year old girl
was riding IN A LAMBO late at night with this man who was married with a child and who according to you always paid her bar tabs and constantly bought her gifts

I'm pretty sure the accident was caught on camera , they have condos just to the left of the red light where tchoup. becomes a two lane road that I worked on and it's got cameras all over the outside of the bldg ...
Plus that's by the entrance to the port , during the day that place is packed with 18 wheelers going to and from all day long .... Anyone familiar with that intersection wouldn't be speeding unless they were drunk , it would be impossible to make that turn doing over 25 mph without at at least going into oncoming traffic much less hit the flood wall that is a good bit off the road by that turn .../

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, & quacks like a duck then it's a duck.
The ONLY aspect of this story that comes out as smart is that Adams was smart enough to lease this Lambo instead of own it & eat the depreciation.
Married dude was buying a single 23 yr old girl drinks & gifts on at least a semi-regular basis who then accepted a ride with said dude. Look, no one DESERVES to die for making human choices-but we know that nothing good comes from paling around with a married man, especially when you are young & seemingly high maintenence "free spirit" who may or may not have had a boyfriend halfway across the country. A late night ride with these circumstances SHOULD at worst merely end with an angry wife maybe soon to be ex wife. But you go looking for trouble, you're gonna find it. Tragically, this girl found the absolute worst of it.
"Nothing good happens after midnight/1am/2am..." like all loving fathers say, right? Lessons to be learned here, all around.

What if you were a blah looking 30 something married dude in a Lambo trying to impress a hot 23 year old who you has always accepted free drinks and gifts for you? I have no clue if they were sober but I do know dudes try to show off when they are trying to get pussy from hot young chicks who act like they are into them...

Ya I have wondered why everyone has been bashing him for leasing the lambo, everyone who gets one does that.

If you were familiar with that intersection , which being from here and probably partying at bars on tchoups I'm sure the guy has been pass there a bunch , you would have to be going at a very high rate of speed before the red lght then make a 90 degree turn within 10' plus have no way to see who was coming from the other direction in the oncoming lane of traffic , no doubt the guy was out of his mind imo ....

And kudos to her family for trying to make it sound like she had a bf in Cali while she was obviously banging this married dude. That's an interesting spin.
She was either banging a married guy OR she had a bf and she was banging a married guy. Not saying she deserved this, but these are the facts we have been given.

That is possible but there are also hundreds of videos on youtube driving exotic sports cars that just crash out of nowhere while doing the simplest of things because the idiot drivers couldn't handle the power. He could have just pressed the gas to hard once he made the turn and in a car like that it would have been really bad if he wasn't used to it. Does anyone know how long we has had this car? I am by no means defending this dude because he is a scumball just for being out with her so late while he has a wife and kid at home but in supercars accidents happen WAAAAYYY more easily than when driving a Tahoe or Camry.
