I'm glad no one drowned, but people who have no clue about things like wakes probably don't have any business driving a boat. At least not at a crowded event like that.
For what its worth, we see shite like that at Thunder Over Louisville on the Ohio River every year at the beginning of the Kentucky Derby Festival. People who have no idea about how to operate a boat get out there, get shite-faced, and the Coast Guard ends up having to rescue a few. Every. Single. Time.
