making our second trip to LC tomorrow to help some friends clean/rebuild. i'll make sure they lock the cans up.
I put mine in the shop during the storm but left them by the road before leaving town again. If someone wants that stench, go for it. City is replacing cans free of charge. Some people.

ETA: I’ll be installing a Kohler 30kw liquid cooled unit in the spring.
The reports I’ve heard on Kohler products have been fantastic. My wife says two of her friends that have them have not missed a beat since storm blew through.
The downside I hear with Cummins is there aren’t any local service agents. If you need service it’ll be out of East Texas and the response isn’t quick but rarely needed. Again, that’s all second hand info.

Interested in this as well, though I wanted to mention there are tips on the portal as well. Basically a shot from each corner of the affected room, then sequentially closer shots on specific spots/damage.

Get your patience ready. We've been getting error messages all week

Delegated this to my wife. Make sure to use the link emailed to you instead of logging in to track your claim status and uploading that way. The email link works much better. Not sure why, but the photos I took on iPhone and sent to my wife were the one format that couldn’t be uploaded, so I think she ended up having to save them to PC as JPEG and upload that way. We added something like 260+ pics. Onto receipts...

Have you hit the submit button after a few pics or are you waiting until you're done? Been using the email link, same result

Power was on from 10:30 to about 3:30. Then it shut off and hasn’t come back on again.
That blows but maybe they were testing.

Not sure if this helps. I have State Farm and was struggling to submit original pics initially after due to lack of service. Went to grandpas farm in Oberlin one day and had great service. I uploaded them but didn’t submit. A couple hours later I checked and when browser updated they were gone. So I did it again and submitted them. I then had to contact desk adjuster to send me more links for receipts and more photos of food, etc.

Uploaded all at once. Our adjuster said something about the site being bogged down at times. I’d suggest trying late at night. Could also be a service issue if you’re still in LCH as another poster mentioned.

Sorry man, it takes a real POS to steal from people recovering from a major hurricane

Looking at the outage map and electricity is so close to my house I can taste it. Hope it comes on by tomorrow so I can leave NOLA on Monday before they get hit.

My street is green but no power yet. You have my email. I can check for you tomorrow if you'd like.

I may take you up on that if I can't reach my neighbor
