I'm gonna need the name of his attorney. Why is he not in jail?

36 arrests is more than enough to consider him a menace to society.

They have a habitual offender law they can use upon conviction but in 10 years some bleeding heart journalist looking for a Pulitzer is sure to write an article about how he’s serving life for possessing illegal drugs and not a violent crime and then refer to Louisiana having the highest incarceration rate in the world.

More likely there will be a clickbait headline about how he's doing life for running from the cops and then the article discloses his full rap sheet.

Seen a few of those the past year. Very annoying.

No. The story needs to tell us how many convictions. If they don’t have convictions tied to that many arrests then the story needs to be why the police and / or prosecutors aren’t doing their damn job.

Do people really buy just promethazine?

yes.... it's very stupid, on their part....

Seems useless without the codeine

it is... the promethazine is only there to put you to sleep before you have a chance of OD'ing on the codeine, but it has no effect on getting you "high", so people buying plain promethazine syrup are, AT BEST, experiencing a good placebo effect, but nothing other than that...

although i have been told that some people will pour it on marijuana, let it dry, and then smoke it.... what that's supposed to do, i dunno, but yeah...

Cops recovered $4,000? What did they do with the other $36,000?

Is it wrong that I don't find anything wrong with cops helping themselves a little? They have a shitty assed job (I know, no one made them become cops) and their life is on the line daily. their pay and whatever pension they get, really isn't worth it, for all the shite they deal with.

I'm making a very important distinction, I'm not talking about when they pull over Joe Blow citizen and given him a pat down and then help themselves to whatever is in their pockets. I'm specifically talking about large drug busts or the found duffel bag of cash. You see them all the time where they have table fulls of coke and then stacks of money. The drugs go to a burn pile after whatever trial and then the money goes to some general fund to be wasted on some bullshite. Why not have it go directly to the officers or whatever agent. Kind of a direct bonus for a good job done.

Promethazine

I think this is a legend drug
Not even a scheduled narcotic bc it’s got no real recreational value.
