Youngsville sucks. Roads are always torn up and 10% sales tax.

The city is going to have to address downtown soon enough...apparently ATC closed some bars on the Simcoe Strip in Trayvon's part of town and downtown is seeing a lot more crime and loitering at night. That's not really attractive to young people moving into the city.

Just put me a couple places on standby. You should know what's suitable. I'll get back to you with a yay or nay. Dude REALLY wants me to move there. I'm still skeptical.

Downtown is now a mix of yuppies, arts, bars, restaurants. The sad part is that its the St Joseph Diner and the homeless crowd gathering area too....

These 2 concepts don't mix real well, if you know what I mean.

Move where? I already live in Broussard. My wife and I want to move to either youngsville or somewhere in the city limits of Broussard actually. But we can't find any houses that have a yard. That is one of the top 3 things on our must have list when we buy.

Kracka,

WE need to meet up IRL. My child will be starting PreK at SCS in 2015. I live in Broussard (not city limits), Cypress Crossing to be exact.

It's getting pretty ghetto after dark, apparently that's due to whatever happened to those northside bars.

I don't like downtown at night. My friends will occasionally want to get Tsunami sometimes. Otherwise, I only go downtown during the day for the delicious food.

I live a block off west bayou near woodvale and alleman and wouldn't trade it for the world. 5 minutes to everything, no through traffic quiet and nice neighbors, nice homes large yards. Working towards my baller status
