Sorry Constant and Supa . . . It was on the corner of Kaliste Saloom and Pinhook. I think there is a Taco Bell in the same spot it used to be in. Having never lived in Lafayette while of driving age, I still get the names of those streets confused.

There was a Mr. Cook's there in the 80's. I grew up in the sub behind Pius so I was pretty familiar with that corner.

Mr. Cook was where the Taco Bell is now. I think they tore it down in the early to mid nineties.

yeah he threw me off for a second when he mentioned the taco bell because TB used to be on one corner (with the most retarded drive thru design ever) and then it moved across the street

anybody remember when the taco bell on the corner of kaliste Saloom and Pinhook had the drive thru window on the passenger side of the car?

La Fonda's mexican food is gradeau. Lafayette doesn't really have any good mexican food.

They had so many accidents from people trying to turn left on pinhook coming out of there.

I remember those days.....And that green rice hull cr*p on the floor. Bo would have scored 100 a few times if there was a 3 pt line. He was literally in range at half court. No exageration!

I remember that old Taco Bell too. It always smelled strange, and I mean stranger than a normal Taco Bell. I often secretly thought that was the reason it was torn down . . . to hide some sort of evidence.

1. Not a dude
2. Charlie G's

Three guys in the kitchen were all really into them- they'd all go to Red's together and work out then come to work and talk about how swole they were getting.

It was fun, but it made me realize that I didnt want to work in restaurants ever again. Being constantly sexually harassed (it was in good fun, but it was still a bit much for a 19 year old), constantly asked out to the Acadiana Motel by the dishwashers, and invited to threesomes got old fast.

No joke, there are mexican places popping up everywhere in Lafayette. If you get a chance check out this new hole in the wall place in Scott called Torreto del Ray. It is in the shopping center by the Pigley Wigley. I think it may be some of the best mexican around.

I had forgotten about that stupid drive thru at the Taco Bell. What a disaster that was.

Off the top of my head...

Coyote Blues
Aztekas
Picantes(2 of them)
Casa O'le
Pasadas
I think there is another one fixing to open up down on Pinhook near the Chilis
What other ones is there? I know I am missing some.
