I'll bet you a thousand dollars if you pulled everyone of them aside alone none of them know what antebellum really means. I'll bet 90% of the posters on td don't know without looking it up. 1000 bucks says the vast majority think the denotation is limited to the South or America or even the 1800s. hint there have been ante bellums for thousands of years, even long before those were words.
