LA schools sending African Americans to elite schools falsified records/scores,abused kids

The New York Times reported its findings about T.M. Landry College Preparatory School in Breaux Bridge on Friday. The newspaper interviewed dozens of people about the school, and examined student records, court documents and police records for its article.
A video of a 16-year-old Landry student opening his Harvard acceptance letter last year has been viewed more than 8 million times and is among many viral videos that have drawn national attention to the school.

Affirmative Action at it's best. Good thing is that all of this could start to correct itself.
We need to stop pushing the underdeveloped past their ability, just setting them up for failure.
This also shows how corruptable govt movements are. Doesnt allow the people/consumer to sniff out the bull shite.

I agree. I will admit that the one issue I've always had with "School Choice" that republicans push, is that it'll get corrupted with quotas. Ruining good private schools.
Why I will nvr support that agenda. More the "we throw plenty of money at public schools, so fix them." type.
This issue is a clear example that strengthens that opinion for sure.

The term African American should apply to any African that is now a US citizen. But I guess that would be racist too.

This should be a red flag for anything at any govt level for sure.
Just sucks that nothing will get done if not acceptable. Why sometimes it's best to just fix what's in place instead of trying a new direction.
