Fake news. Politicians cannot budget? Don’t like.

While I doubt you've ever looked at any government financial statements, I tend to not form opinions after "glancing" at something

The point the OP is making is correct.

Louisiana is 2nd in the nation in credit card debt, MarketWatch.com. The same electorate that puts these people in office. This state does not understand debt.

The media doesn't even understand how a supposedly "red" state, can make some of the political choices that are made, when in fact we are NOT a fiscally conservative state.

The REC fiasco is much more than financial, however.

I can glance at someone running in the middle of traffic to know that's a bad idea. If you want to try it for yourself to see if it is a bad idea, that's on you.

Great comparison. Governmental performance accounting and running in traffic, apples to apples

The underlying meaning was to address the idiocy of your statement. I must have stepped on your toes when I criticized the government.

Any person with an IQ over 70 can infer what I meant.

It's just people like you are the reason government is so inefficient, you have a hard line opinion on something when you don't know what the frick you're talking about.

Ah yes. Since my chosen profession isn't accounting, there is no possible way I could identify poor money management.

Senate President John Alario, R-Westwego,

Right hand man for Edwin Edwards, Bobby Jindal and now John Bel Edwards. Has been in the Legislature for 40+ years and has made his living sucking at the taxpayer tit and buying re-elections and praise with our tax dollars. He’s actually worse than Bel Edwards, much worse, because of his utter crookedness, longtime experience in Baton Rouge, and the power he wields over people.

Despite our exchange I like the conversation. I look forward to future discussions.
