Leaving out time is ignoring a major part of the story, influencing the readers to “read into it” without all the data points.

The other thing the OP left out is the likely percentage of people that have and are asymptomatic and never tested. Should we also discuss that because that’s likely the largest piece of data missing?

Heard a relative who'd been on a cruise. But, who really knows?

(For comparison - Johns Hopkins (JH) has a global death rate of 4.2%, China - I'm sure it's horse shite, but 4%, Italy - a staggering 9%, U.S. as a whole - 1.3%)

Did JH have numbers for Iran? I saw something that said they could be well over 6,400 deaths.

What if I told you there was something that caused 102 deaths every day in the US (which didn’t discriminate age, gender, race, etc...) and we could stop it if everyone stayed home? Do you think we should have a lockdown in order to prevent it?

You mean car accidents? If we never left the house again we would never have deadly car accidents.

Over 37,000 people die in road crashes each year in the US.

Some article was quoting all the La deaths except one had an underlying medical condition. The one that did not was 83 yrs old. The underlying condition info is what I think is most important. If you have one of the conditions listed then you should wall yourself in for a month.

All men. 3 of them were doctors.

Can you clarify if the doctors who died were residents of Lambeth House or were they practicing physicians serving those living at Lambeth House? It isn't easy to tell from your post.

A couple of people told me that the doctors you refer to lived at Lambeth House and were retired physicians

Thank you for the post. Every article I read has soooo many differing numbers. Tough to figure out the truth.

This was how I took it...FWIW.
