Nope. I feel like a broken record but there's a compromise vote coming. He's getting convicted of something
What's left to compromise on? Gun charges were dropped right?
And didn't the judge say that if they rule self defense then it can't be reckless endangerment?

I can guarantee you half of the deliberation discussion is "If we fully acquit him, what happens to our community?"
Authoritarian systems regularly use violent mobs to establish themselves and enforce their policy and ideology onto a majority that isn't interested in adopting it.
That is what we are seeing in this country now.
Escapees to the US from brutal, authoritarian nations fully agree with me by the way. Several have come out recently.
Thing is, America isnt like anywhere else. The nation was founded and sustained by people who stick their foot up centralized collectivism's arse.
Hopefully they aqcuit and the riots are minimized and we just move on to the next fake narrative.

This is what I'm wondering. I can't imagine that lawyers are almost unanimously agreeing that this is self defense but the 12 people on the jury can be swayed into a guilty verdict on something. In my mind, they're just doing due diligence and making damn sure they're reviewing everything correctly when giving a not guilty verdict. At least that's what I hope.

Those liberals are going to make an example of him, now the question is how much of an example since he truly wasn't in the wrong.

Such a great post. Historically accurate. Nice insight.
The part I put in bold...
I value lives. But I also value the hard-working people who have businesses. You can't necessarily put a dollar value on someone's life but I believe our government has a responsibility to protect property and protect the hard work that these business owners have. They failed in August of 2020 and to minimize the violence they need to not fail again. If it is minimized I hope it is through strict enforcement of peaceful protest. If it gets out of hand they need to bust heads. I really feel it has come to that. It is so much easier to keep control than to regain control. I'm afraid we're right on the cusp of losing control completely. The time is here where people on the streets do not want Justice they just want their way, and that's not what this country is all about.
