Didn't the DA drum up additional charges just trying to get anything to stick? Also, he fought the judge when the judge said if it is determined to be self-defense then that's it. He just wants anything to stick so he doesn't look more like a failure.
The jury has a lot of "rules" to go through for each charge so it will take some time and you just know some liberal Karen is going to hold this up if she makes the final 12. There's also one black person on the jury that has been told Kyle is a white supremacist.
I expect it to be a shite show just due to the sheer hype of this case.

He did. But the judge explained in language that was clear as mud that if the jury came to a unanimous decision on self defense on the original charges, that’s the ballgame.

They have 18 jurors. They selected 12 at the end of the day yesterday. The remaining 6 are alternates.

Absolutely. The problem comes when 8 or 9 have made up their minds that it's self defense and a 3 or 4 have for whatever reason made up their minds that it's murder.
