Yep. Completely legal for him to possess the weapon, and the curfew issue was dealt with (dropped early, I think). So he had every right to be there and to be armed. That was a big win. I hope the jury sees through the b.s. "provocation" evidence.

Really? Why?

I thought that was the one thing they had him dead to rights on.

Prosecution this morning admitted the firearm was legal length, etc...

That's what the MSM wanted everyone to believe. Turns out he was legally fine with both being there and possessing the firearm. This isn't the full acquittal, but it's damn near over at this point.

Mcginnis was the guy standing behind Rosenbaum when he was shot. Reckless endangerment is putting others at risk by shooting in public.

oh well he will probably not get charged with that. if the self defense vs rosenbaum is justified then i dont see why he would be guilty of that. the endangerment was not reckless it was purposeful defense

Yeah I don't see how he could be found guilty of reckless endangerment if it was a justified self defense. "But what if the bullet didn't hit the person he was lawfully allowed to shoot" isn't the most solid reasoning imo.

How is anyone on the jury staying awake through this?

I'll say it again. Trump dropped the ball by not using a preemptive full pardon. You can bet Biden will make sure he gets charged with federal crimes such as "crossing state lines to commit a crime" and something with a "hate crime" escalator. An unbiased judge/jury would laugh it out of court but that's something that doesn't exist where he'll file it.

I do think it might be a decent way for Biden to blunt the number of riots.

This judge is embarrassing himself. He's so chaotic in his thinking.

The term "reasonable" has got to be the most used word in the law books..

They're arguing with the judge over what the jury should hear. They can't be in there for these motions/arguments.

And it's such a subjective word. What's reasonable to you is what may not be reasonable to someone else.

2 fricking hours of a closing argument by Littlefinger?!??
