During and after college I had summers off so I would travel and work service industry type jobs. You meet a ton of Eastern Europeans in those type places and some of them are insanely hot. I met and dated a girl from Belarus for a time but it didn’t work out, she later told me she was gonna become a mail order bride. Back then it was basically what tinder or bumble is now on some levels. I never found out but I’ve heard she met another American online and lives in the USA now. Very attractive and well educated I’m sure she’s doing well.

My dad was recently telling me about his coworker that married a Russian woman. Said she was gorgeous and had nobody at the wedding, and they still had a big wedding, inviting tons of friends, family, and the whole office. Three months after the wedding, this coworker ran home to grab some paperwork he'd left at the house, and she was in the middle of a prostitution exchange.

A local guy, early 50s, got divorced from his American wife of many years and started shopping for a new wife. He wrote a multi-part series in his newspaper about the experience.
Started with Ukranians. The service he used would set him up with a series of dates when he went over. He hit it off with one chick, and they visited in Mexico and other places for a bit. She couldn't get a VISA to enter the U.S.
She and many of the other Ukranians turned out to be hot but materialistic and vain (in his opinion). Lots of drama with ex-boyfriends, gifts, etc.
He headed to the Philippines and, with the same service, found him a cute girl, about 18 when they met. Dirt poor family, cute, willing to marry him at 50+ and head to America. They got married a few months ago. Time will tell.

I had a high school classmate who was quite a lady's man. He went to work on a foreign oil rig and surprised everyone by coming home with a pretty Filippino wife. It's lasted decades.

Worked with a guy several years back. They got married about 10 years ago and everything seemed to be going well. She's really into all the LSU sports and has gotten him into them as well. I see him on Facebook on occasion and they seem to still be happy.

A cousin is on his second Russian bride. The first marriage failed quickly. The second marriage is at around 15 years and solid, she's very nice.
So not much different than the odds in the US.

There's this guy who is a counselor in a female prison. He has a russian bride. Even brought her mother over to the US. Its sad but the mom and daughter make fun of him at the dinner table in russian. The odd thing is theres a female russian inmate that he gets advice from. I think he may have a crush on her too.

Not exactly mail order, but similar. Hard working logging baw, made a lot of money in the woods. Took a trip to London to see the sights, met a Russian gal and brought her back to BFE North La. They've been together a few years and seem content.

I recall reading a study a few years ago that claimed the divorce rate of men with foreign brides was actually lower than the average for the US.
I'm sure the nationality of the bride plays a part as some countries, Philippines for instance, are very traditional.
One may need a strong pimp hand with Russians...

I worked with a guy who went on a date with a phillipeno woman and married her 3 weeks later. Their first daughter was born 6 or 7 months later and premature but the amazing thing was the kid was normal sized! The dude bought her story hook line and sinker. I think she just got citizenship.

Worked with a guy who got a Brazilian mail order. They married in US. One week after getting legal status, she filed for cruelty charge. He now lives in the garage and she is in his house

I find Brazilian’s to be cool in addition to Peruvians and Chileans
