the KKK was publicly vehemently against gambling, alcohol, prostitution, and other 'vices' (and certain cases resulted in violence against white violators of these moral norms, including murder). However, there was a huge scandal in the 20s that led to the downfall of the second-wave KKK when it turned out their leadership were massive hypocrites and engaged in all sorts of perversions. One of the most prominent Grand Dragons, DC Stephenson of Indiana, was found guilty of some sex-related murder that exposed him and his cronies for the bunch of hypocrites they were.
All the propaganda spewed by KKK leadership about elevating the morals of the white race was bullshite.
