Kissing your adult kids on the lips is unnecessary to show affection and perverted

Why is spanking on the behind a punishment, but spanking an adult is sexual?

Freudian internalization of pain as pleasure.

Plus we are kinky creatures.

I thinks it really weird and almost creepy that anyone could think a peck on the lips between a child and a parent as anything other than a sweet sign of affection

And that's fine. I find it creepy to see adults kissing their ~12 year old and up child on the lips.
But why do you think it is that you don't see this as common practice in our society? You don't see this with kids of understanding age in practice everyday or often at all for that matter.

But, I'm the creepy one? Are they not doing it because they don't want to be judged, or are they not doing it because it's just kind of odd?

that is probably because kids sexualize kissing once they become of age

kids sexualize anything and everything

And then most of them don't ever grow up. This shite was pretty common not too long ago but we've become a very immature society.

Not adults, 30+ year old children.

There is absolutely nothing sexual about it, so why would it be weird? If you find it weird, you obviously harbor some incestual/pedo urges and should seek help.

This was pretty common? Ask your grandfathers did they kiss their children on the lips. Ask any WW2 generation man.

This thread is stupid. Of course I kiss my kids on the lips, and they kiss me on the lips. They're my kids and they love me. If they want to kiss me on the lips why would not let them?

Some of you people are really dumb

I'm almost positive my grandfather, who was a WW2 vet, would have kissed his children on the lips when they were young.

He would kiss me on the cheek every time I saw him up until he died when I was 26.

yeah it is...But perception is what it is(I hate that saying but I think it works). What is and may seem innocent is often still perceived by many as just strange.

My son is 3 and he kisses me on the lips sometimes. Next time he does it I'm going to punch him in the face and call him a fig.......BECAUSE I'M NOT GAY. THAT'S WEIRD.

I didn't kiss my now 1 and a half year old son on the lips originally, but when we'd leave we'd say give mommy or daddy a kiss bye buddy and that's what he would go for.

He also laughed when he was sick and they took his temperature rectally though so who knows

I'm good with it. I've got the social norms on my side.

You give your 17 year old son a big kiss on the lips on his prom night. See who's the creepy one then. But, hey, if you don't think it's sexual, it's fine. Just affection.
