Get the same experience every day with my 2 year old son. Runs down the hall for a hug. And I give him a kiss on the cheek.

He kisses his mom on the lips. She loves it. So when he wants one from me he faces me. I seriously never even thought about this before. Didn't cross my mind. He gets his kiss. One day, he'll stop and so will I and that will be end of the "weirdness" I guess. But he'll still get them on the head and cheek for a while until it's not "cool" anymore.

That's stupid .

Why don't people greet friends and family members with a kiss on the lips? Because it's considered a sexual act. shite man...

Just because it's your child, who has the mental capacity to understand what a kiss on the lips means, doesn't make it any different IMO. I don't give a shite if you do it...It's just weird to me.

Yes, clearly most of society thinks about sex when they see a parent kiss their 2 year old.

Read the thread reject. I've definitely clarified myself.

Sure do. And have definitely had my kids kiss me on the lips, but it's not something I proactively do. I kiss them on the cheek.
My point wasn't about 2 year olds nor was I thinking was the point of the OP.

Yes, you've said several times that you think about sex when you see a parent kiss their child on the lips.

i have a 4 yr old boy and a 6 yr old girl. I kiss my girl on lips way more than my boy, but i don't gravitate away from a lip kiss if that's what hes coming in for.

And that's fine, but in time, your daugher/son will come to understand what a kiss on the lips means, and that will probably stop. If it doesn't, I find it weird.

You got me and have the reading comprehension of the 2 year olds you keep bringing up.

This is such a stupid issue to get weirded out over.

I've always found it odd when I've seen it, but it's not something I've given any thought to. Just wondered what other people thought.

As a child I kissed both my parents, but always on the cheek. That's probably why it always appeared strange to me to see a dad kiss his son on the lips. Not that unreasonable.

My sons are 20 and 13 and not since they were newborns have kissed them on the lips. I'm not judging parents that do. Just weird to me.

You've got issues. Talk to Chad. He's run out of things to say.

Based on some of the responses in this here thread, you are obviously an insecure, latent homosexual. Quit being a shitty arse father and lay a big wet one on your boys next time you see them.
