Just played golf with a guy who got this on his alert on his phone from WESH.COM. Wesh is NBC Orlando. KANG COBRA on the prowl in Apopka!

It amazes me that people think they can handle a venomous snake that can grow up to 18 feet long.

Couple reasons:
- there's only one. Unlikely it will survive long.
- more than one snake is needed for reproduction.
- Pythons are a natural predator to other snakes, and it sounds like they run the land in Florida
Fun fact: a male snake's reproductive organs are called hemipenes
