Richard Harris would disagree.

I got to watch killer wales hunt in Alaska once and it was one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen. These were very small orcas yet in a pack could destroy anything in the ocean. I've been terrified of them since.

I'm starting to think any animal name with "sea" in it is just a lie.

great whites are often considered apex predators but they are not. a lot of people don't realize this (especially the dimwits who did the seaworld documentary for cnn) but orcas are apex predators.

orcas killing great whites is nothing new.

bottle nose dolphins will not flee if they have an injured group member and will start ramming great whites through the gills and kill them.

great whites are only apex predators as it pertains to the food chain. orcas and dolphins don't hunt for them nor do they eat them, but they'll sure as shite kill them.

Are there any documented cases of Orcas killing humans swimming or surfing in the ocean?
