He's never going to be set free until he is able to stand trial and found not guilty.
Being found unfit to stand trial doesn't mean you are freed. It means that you are going to be held in the State Mental Hospital in Jackson until the day you are deemed fit to stand trial. If he's never deemed fit, then he will remain in the mental hospital the rest of his life.
I used to work at that hospital. Prison is preferable. Most inmates who manage to get deemed unfit magically become fit by their 2nd or 3rd reevaluation.

The real issue is most blacks have an IQ below 80 so they are all incompetent but it would be racist to round them up prior to them destroying someone else's life
