When I read this I said, “Good answer, good answer” while clapping - like they do on Family Feud.

Also, can’t believe the smell of a hairy bush didn’t make page 1.

When a kid threw up in class, which seemed to happen pretty often, the janitor would use some kind of chemically treated sawdust to clean it up. It smelled as bad as the vomit.

Nothing like that cold rag over your face when it was 110 degrees outside. And then here in Louisiana we had a drink called Quickick. It was essentially a hybrid of gatorade and mountain dew. Two sips and that shite was gone lol.

Dixie Youth baseball and Florida Water went hand in hand..

Every time I smell that stuff it brings me back in the dugout.

The smell of creosote pilings brings me back to my grandparents place in Waveland.

Mosquito trucks. Of course like a lot of kids from that era, we would ride our bikes behind the truck.

Don’t think they make it anymore but I loved the smell of Elmers paste. Yes, I sniffed glue as a kid.

This was such a thing that Adam Sandler asked for this scene to be put into Billy Madison. Said he actually ate the shite IRL growing up lol. I couldn't wait for art class so we would bust out that little box that contained our scissors, Elmer's paste, erasers, pencils, and whatever else we could stuff into that little thing.

Smell of pine in a new home build. Exhaust from a 4-stroke outboard motor. Smell of a new car.

Confirm, I smoked it as a kid and of course my hippie uncle's house in Houston always smelled like it.

I live in the PNW and the smell of grass is everywhere. Wish they used the old stuff plus I miss smoking it too. You could relax and smoke a whole joint but now that would fry you. One puff and done.

Brings me back to when I learned how to waterski as a kid in the 70's..

The best thing about 2-a-days was that shite on a soaking wet towel over your head at the one 6 minute water break. By the way, Amazon sells it and a "cologne" version. It isn't a heavy cologne per se, but closer to a bottled version of what we had at practice. I keep a bottle in the ice chest on the boat while fishing cut half/half with water. Amazing product.

Florida water cologne

I miss the smell of walking into the mall side entrance of Sears where the snack bar was. That smell of fresh popcorn (not that microwave shite) and soft baked pretzels permeating the air. I can still remember the excitement of fast walking to the Shangri La of the giant toy section. The weekly hunt for the newly released hot wheels cars and star wars toys.

Damn Baws i need a minute...I just realized what they've taken from us...
