Some people are too fricking stupid to be parents.

Growing up, heroin was something reserved for some dead beat street trash in a dirty big city far away like San Francisco, LA, or NYC. There's no way in hell we would have even contemplated messing with that rancid poison. Today, it's all over the place, and kids especially are gravitating to it like it's just another option in life to escape life's realities. It's difficult for me to wrap my head around this, but it leads me to the conclusion that this country really has taken a nose dive into the trash. What once was deemed dirty and nasty has now become main stream and even acceptable in many circles. That goes for much more than just heroin, crack, or meth, but it certainly is another key indicator as far as I'm concerned with just how low we've sunk to as a society in general.
