This stuff was more prevalent in the days of Ward Cleaver.
Sure. A child is more likely to get gang raped by the friend of their fathers in the 50's then they would now?! Where do you come up with this stuff?

Easily. Child sex abuse was huge in those days, it was just not broadcast widely because of a lack of social media, and it was more socially acceptable.

If you're incapable of spelling "indict" you probably should leave criminal justice to the literate.

Mobile homes should be inspected by the sheriff on a monthly basis. Every time there is an issue like this it occurred at a mobile home and I will go one step further and say that nothing good happens in a mobile home.
not much difference in the trailer park and the ghetto.
desegregation should be used to move some poor blacks from gov't housing into the trailer park and poor whites into the hood.

She should have never gone with that adult man anywhere in the first place. And especially, not at 10:30 pm!
This is such a stupid statement.

Yeah because it's a good idea for a 15 year old girl to go in the truck of an adult male who isn't family at 10:30 at night. And you know how I can tell you it wasn't a good idea? Read the story.

Because he is part of the," not broadcasted widely" network.

Sometimes I'll pause and look at the wall of missing person sheets with the faces and stats. I think they are at Walmart, or maybe the post office.
It is heartbreaking when you realize there are dozens/hundreds/thousands? of missing young people, mostly girls who will never see their families again.
Indeed it is heartbreaking. I went up North for the eclipse a few weeks ago. My friend and I stopped at an Atlanta Walmart and hung out in the store for about 2 hours while we waited for a group of friends to arrive so we could continue our travel together.
With so much time to kill we ended up looking at the board of missing persons. It was really sad that a majority of them were people missing from decades ago, the 60s, 70s, etc.. The photographs were of small children and teenagers, with digitally manipulated photos of how they would look today as middle-aged adults. It just seemed so hopelessly futile that somehow these young boys and girls would somehow show up somewhere as 50 year olds, and if they were found, what sort of life would they have lived or would live going forward?

This sounds like the plot of a horror movie.

The guy was a trusted family friend. You do know that most sex abuse comes from a family member or person of trust?

Yeah hindsight is incredible isn't it?

Apparently it isn't for you? Because even after knowing what happened, you still claim that me saying it was foolish for her to go with him was wrong.
And what kind of trusted friend rapes your daughter? I'm thinking the scuzzy type that a 15 year old shouldn't be getting into a vehicle at 10:30 night.

Hello!
