No such thing as “behavioral issues” almost every behavioral issue is directly tied to poor parenting. In this case, non-existent parenting. Frankly, I’m a little shocked no one took the responsibility of parenting that child on the plane in their own hands.

I was on a flight to Cancun from Dallas last Sunday. A couple of rows back there was a rather unhappy baby. Thankfully my ear pods were fully charged.

Buy a better pair.

Could sleep through the rapture with mine.

I would have said HEY! That’s enough!! And gave him the evil eye to try me. The problem is that this kid doesn’t fear adults giving consequences for this bs.

Except now that he's a grandpa he will coddle my kid and try to fulfill his every whiny complaint.

Never happened. Don't figure it ever will.

Just call the flight attendant if it does.

I don't think that they would work in this case. That child had an ear-piercing scream.

they do, just watch a movie with noise canceling on.
had a kid 3 rows up that cried due to the pressure going up and coming down (felt bad for him) and I barely heard him once I set up.

No one on here is beating anyones arse on a plane

Then consider yourself very, very lucky. That or you rarely fly.

It's cute you think they'll do anything to stop it.

You should have felt like slapping the parents. All he needed was a snack, pacifier, or bottle to make him swallow, which would break the seal on his ears.

Plenty of parents are stupid.

My kiddo has that problem, it's pretty severe and even with medicine, she cries. When she was young we did not fly due to that issue.

Do like my momma used to do when she had to bring me out in public.. Dip a finger in crown royal and stick it in my mouth. Evidently that keeps kids calm for awhile.

What the hell airline do you fly?

Have never had an issue that the attendant hasn't been able to solve in 20 seconds.

I didn't see the video before replying. frick that man, that is some sorry as parents.

Maybe there is, IDK, but I don't believe there is no such thing as an "uncontrollable kid".

Do these parents not tell their kids before they go out in public "you better listen to me, do exactly what I tell you because if you don't once we in the car you will be wishing you listened to everything I said".

A kid who acts out in public does so because they have nothing to fear.
