I think it is more like 50+% overpressure. It comes down to a perfectly functional inexpensive gun design that unless you do stupid things like firing sabot rounds with unknown pedigrees will function properly. But doing stupid shite is youtube stock and trade.

I personally wouldn't buy one nor would I even shoot one.

Even with a hot round the gas should want to expand in the path of least resistance, which should be out the barrel. Could the bullet have been pinched into the shell too tight or something? He said the barrel wasn’t blocked, so why else would a threaded on steel cap be easier to push out than a 50 cal bullet
