If have not read his books on the Civil War then you don't fully understand that war.

I am sure this is very interesting. I will have to try to find an hour to listen to it Maybe if I have to turn the sound off on tonight’s LSU game or tomorrow’s Saints game.

I’m on book 3 of his trilogy
I wish Shelby had done the narration for it
Don’t really care for Grover Gardner. There’s a lack of emotion that Shelby wrote with that is lost in the audio version

Grover is ‘fine’. But it sounds like sitting in a lecture whereas Foote was a true southern storyteller.
Eventually we’ll get an AI version that sounds like him narrating
