I have nothing against it and have a lot of friends who were in KA. Most of them can't change a tire and have probably can't load a gun.
Well that proves you didn't have any KA friends. Learning how to chang a tire was pledgeship 101 and you couldn't be accepted if you didn't know how to load a gun.

So sorry your gf gave her anal cherry to a KA in hopes of getting an invite to Old South.

Do you fricking really? Doesn't seem like your kinda place.
BTW what did that place used to be called circa 2003-4? I was trying to think of it the other day.

You didn't miss much.

the antebellum south
There is a certain nostalgia for the way things used to be, simpler times - etc. It is tough to avoid the obvious, glaring problem with that peculiar institution, but antebellum architecture and culture is still a strong draw in the old south, particularly in the cotton belt. And it doesn't necessarily mean a desire to return people to bondage.
I mean, we talk about the great civiliations of Rome and Greece, with some fondness, but without wanting to go back to the culture of slavery, barbarism and no indoor plumbing.

semi-secretive but very proudful event.
A lot of the fraternities take traditions from Freemasonry, itself a fairly secretive group (and there are black Freemasons and fraternities with secret practices, just before you ask, brah.).

No doubt. The Historic Natchez Tableaux is an annual event that draws tourists from around the world. They come tour plantations/antebellum homes and there's a nightly performance that shows old dances, dress, history, etc.
Sounds, and is, hokey but it's very popular with tourists b/c it's a way for people (mostly old but some nerdy college kids on spring break) to immerse themselves in the 'old south' for a week on vacation from up north or a different country.
Found a link about the nightly show and pilgrimage. See? it has nothing to do with racism.

How original. Let me know if you want to fight IRL. Maybe you can pay some of your friends to come help
If I had to guess, there was more KA on KA anal cherrys being popped than anything else.

Why is there an obsession with the old south that is so "nostalgia"
Why do some black fraternities have an obsession with branding their members (and sometimes beating them to death) as though they were livestock? I find this much more offensive than dressing in period costumes.

when I was at LSU one o the black frats, omega psi phi I think, would make their pledges crawl on all fours all over campus with a brick in each hand during hell week, and of course there was the branding, those fresh wounds looked painful as hell

Man, you came in to this thread with some real pent up anger towards KA's or fraternities in general. I am sure you ran in to a tool or two, but maybe you should look in the mirror. You are threatening to fight people because of words on a message board.... Everyone runs in different circles, just because you were not part of a certain one does not justify hating it so much. Step back, take a breath, and chill the hell out....

Nope we are all rich, since we got jobs we didn't deserve due to our connections. All my frat bros fly down on their private 787s every other weekend to restock on Cuban cigars, kicking a GDI's arse will just be a bonus.

that's a pretty small ramp, they must have their pilots drop them off and go wait in SJU to be called

What's with your obsession of anal sex and jocks, not to mention the "cock" in your handle? Are you a Toddy? Did some KA take your boyfriend?

I'm perplexed by your obsession with fraternities.
It's a big party, there's no deep or secret meaning to it. Quit race baiting.

No we pay the island to close off the beach and the surrounding highways and take down the fences. Would it be cheaper and easier to just fly down in a lear? Probably, but it would not be as frat.

KA was founded at Washington & Lee University... which is right next door to VMI.
This shouldn't be difficult to figure out - Even for you.

My roommate during college was a KA. Theres a night where they rent out a bar and do a north vs. south keg race (which team you were on depended on which side of I-10 you hailed from I THINK). That night of his freshman year is the most fricked up I've ever seen one of my friends, it was quite impressive.

Nah, my brother and a lot of my great friend were KA. I came into this thread just to talk shite back to someone who was already talking shite. If you think i'm serious or give a frick, sorry.
