The fact that dumbass told the cops he stabbed the victim should make any lawyer think twice about the case simply because their client is a fricking retard.

The stabber's middle name is Sincere lol. He'll sincerely be spending the rest of his life in prison while others say he definitely does not belong there despite killing another man in broad daylight at 17. This will happen again if he is somehow left out of bars. Killing at 17 means multiple more later in life.

I'd bet my bank that he doesn't know his father.

Usually lawyers quit when you are making them pull a rabbit out of their hat.

Me thinks two lawyers told him he has no case for self defense and his best outcome is to negotiate a plea deal and reduced sentencing.

Now that the case has become very political, Anthony is probably has advocacy orgs in his ear to fight so they can use him as a poster boy for their cause of black injustice. When he’s found guilty with a harsh sentence, they can raise money off him.

Same thing happened to Rittenhouse where his original attorneys were using him to raise funds vs actually getting bail posted.

His father has been in the news claiming it was self defense, and by most reports the kid lives with both parents.

Didn’t he also then basically ask the cops if he could claim self-defense on ride to the station (maybe not exact words)?

If I am in fear of my life to the point of using deadly force I wouldn’t have to ask if I could claim self defense especially right after. I definitely wouldn’t ask the cops that, but in that moment I would have zero doubts about my life being in danger.
