What I see is something that isn't a big deal and a bunch of people getting upset over nothing. Sadly, that's pretty common phenomenon these days.

Ah, you can get the ticket fixed, but you are neglecting one fact.

He still got a ticket.

Anyone really surprised that whites in Louisiana are racist and support Trump?

What's racist about the fraternity guys wall? Is it racist to be anti-illegal immigration?

Enlighten me

Have you even been in a courtroom? Do you have any idea how the legal system actually works? Particularly in Louisiana? As I said, you seem naive.

I have not made any analogies, and I do not need to "try" to sound smart.

Declaring something "not a big deal" does not negate any broken laws.

Your opinion of the matter is irrelevant.

Whether or not someone is charged with a criminal act should be an emotionless action.

Emotion can be brought into the mix during any deliberation by the lawyers or judges.

If they determine that no actions are needed at that time and dismiss charges, so be it.

That is not for the police or public to decide in the immediate.

Yes, I have been in a courtroom on more than one occasion so I know how the system works. And every time i have been in a courtroom was in Louisiana. I am not naive, I simply believe that if you break the law that you should be held accountable. Why is this so hard to grasp

Well then let them file charges so they have to explain to mommy and daddy why they need a lawyer. I'm sure they'll be very proud.

Ok.

Your snarky attitude and inability to refute any of Scruffy's points means that he has won.

One day you will may be able to think clearly without being blinded by such partial politics/team oriented fervor.

One day. Good luck.

Because you equated college students with homeless people and petty vandalism with burning cars.

Lets assume you have received a speeding ticket in the past. If someone offered to "fix it" for you would you decline?

You've been around this chat board long enough to know that declaring victory means you've lost.

I doubt charges are filed. This is much ado about nothing.

You actually equated them that way, I simply stated they are both humans.. and I said vandalism/destruction is a crime and where do you draw the line, is burning a car not vandalism/destruction.. And all of this in the name of "social justice"

I'm going with scruffy on this one, and chalking it up as win, gotta hit the range before the sun goes down

Only if you've lost. Scruffy never loses.

I doubt charges are filed also, but it wouldn't be due to a lack of broken laws.

Scruffy broke the first rule of winning: If you have to say it, you didn't.

I doubt charges are filed also, but it wouldn't be due to a lack of broken laws.

So you agree that this will ultimately amount to nothing?

The NOPD has bigger things going on than soothing the wounded egos of some college kids from out of town, and I imagine there's some interesting deed restrictions with this property being right against campus and literally next door to the freshman dorm

They wanted this attention, but it just so happened they underestimated the attention seekers on the other side

Dumb college kid shite, hardly news especially in New Orleans

Are you saying you won by implication? If you are, you broke your own rule, and thus lost.
