The KAs need to rebuild that Wall and spray paint the Tulane Football players just paid for it!

The tradition was to build the sandbag wall in front and a flagpole was erected behind the wall, for Old South week. The KA flag would be placed on the flagpole. Pledges would be tasked with 24 hour a day watch over the flag for the week, in shifts. Members of other fraternities and sororities --and many times, friends -- would plot to catch the pledges snoozing in the middle of the night, and steal the flag. It was pretty much good-natured fun. And I don't remember anything violent or anger-provoking happening.
This is exactly right. It's freaking college. Why can't people have fun anymore?

SJW's that's why. Nobody can just go about their business anymore.

I wouldn't wish any reprimanding to the football players who destroyed the wall. Except to be taught that, while their intentions may have heroic in their own minds, freedom of speech is one of the cornerstones of the college experience, and shouldn't be infringed upon just because it sometimes may not lean to the liberal left.
Peace and love from New Orleans.
Well said.
It's supposed to be a fun tradition, and SJWs that don't know this are going to overreact and run with the "racist Southern fraternity" narrative. At the same time, I'm not naive enough to believe that the KA's weren't fishing for attention by spray-painting it in the first place.
Unfortunately for Tulane, it will now be the center of the next big college racial strife story over something so incredibly trivial.

It just didn't look fun when people had to run and hide from college football athletes.. And they spray painted a presidential name and slogan on the wall, I'm sure they could've gotten more creative if they were trying to bait people

It got a little physical back in my day, never quite came to blows, but we took some pretty good tackles. I'm quick, but apparently not quick enough with a 30 lb bag under my arm

So this is what it's come too? Other fraternities too chicken shite they have to outsource the wall tearing? Weak.

So this is a yearly, lulz Frat thing. Righteous.
That looked like an exact, toxic emblem of what's driving the Don's numbers.

Very well said. I was at KA at Tulane. This was my favorite time of the year and such a unique tradition. Pledges defend the wall all week long, 24 hours a day. We would coordinate with other fraternity actives to send their pledges classes on attacks each night. There would be all out brawls between pledge classes but everyone was friends at the end of the day.

We need to stop using the term SJW and start calling them what they are, FASCISTS.

That is some damn fine trolling. I support pissing liberals off 100% of the time.

while the public may tear down our physical walls... they can never harm the walls we place around them not for their greed or avarice, but simply because they are stupid.

This afternoon the Tulane football team was seen taking down the sand bags from the barrier the fraternity created,
I hope Tulane loses every game this year for doing that.

By the looks of the players, that's very possible
