“Still has it”? What is there to have? He’s a rapper. It’s not like he’s got to sing. And he’s in his 40’s, not his 70’s.

He also has a house in a gated community in another town in St Tammany.

After the storm I lost touch of them. I was passing his house on a Sunday morning when I saw him and his wife in a car leave ng their driveway. I blocked him off at the boulevard and jumped out of my truck pointing at him with my finger asking “ Juvenile and Donna? “. I was wearing a hat, overalls, sunglasses. He didn’t recognize me at first and his eyes got as big as dinner plates. He thought I was the hit man

What is tiny desk?

Tiny Desk is an NPR series where musicians play shorts sets in the NPR offices.

The set is behind an office desk and thus the name.

There are a ton of great sets. One of my favorites is the one the late Mac Miller did a few years ago.

Congrats on being a try hard.

It was genuine first reaction. I had not heard from Juvie in ages. He crushed the set, which was unexpected.

Performers “lose it” all the time regardless of age.

Thanks for posting this. Incredible set.

Juvie sounded great.

Manny had to read lyrics a few times but Juvie lived those bars.

That was the best rendition of Back That Azz Up I ever heard.

Also Mannie Fresh may be the best producer of all time

He is doing quite well as a performer and his music aged well. He is always on big tours with other legendary artists from the south.
