They just had to quit social media marketing as well. Don't they have an ipo set? That should be fun to watch.

How was this enforced? It's my understanding the only reason cigs aren't advertised is the MSA.

So apparently they are no longer going to sell flavored nicotine in stores but will continue to sell them online. Must be 21 years of age and they will limit to 15 pods every month (to limit selling to minors) and 10 juul devices per year.

Sooo they created a base, cut out the middle man and now can sell directly via website?

Yes. But in order to purchase you will have to enter the last 4 digits of your SSN

Now that it just got a whole lot harder to buy flavored pods, more teens will start smoking cigs imo

Even so, everyone I know that still smokes uses a Juul. Someone will find a loophole to buy in bulk or demand/prices for the flavors will increase for those of age.
I mean I appreciate the effort in trying to prevent underage kids from smoking, but as the article said, it's probably a little too little, a little too late. I just don't see this as a negative (profit wise) for the company.

Yeah. Keep in mind they will still be selling Mint and tobacco pods in retail stores

Mint the GOAT anyway.. and as far as not being allowed to sell in stores, all that means is no selling in gas stations/convenience stores. Still able to buy any type pod at a vape shop etc.

wouldn't surprise me if the big tobacco lobby is manipulating the pearl clutchers (THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!) on this issue
pretend like juul is some "epidemic" just to gain back what little market share tobacco has with the 17-21 year old demo
although in tobacco's defense, it makes sense that they would want these vapes to be on an "equal" playing field sales and marketing wise since tobacco is so limited in what they can do
