It's cool they did it, but damn that looked second rate compared to the ball in NYC. Why don't they just do it in Dallas with a big old set of brass balls for the central time zone?

Living currently in Chicago, I can safely say that is not true. Chicagoians aim to be regionally independent and very culturally self centered. They don’t like outsiders and they don’t like new things.
