Just remember instead of the F 35 we might have had the X 32

The F 35 was plagued with problems and the marines insistence on VTOL made challenges for both teams but instead of this

I used to work on Harriers in the Marines and they were a pain to work on. Having said that, the VTOL version of the F-35 looks like an absolute bitch to maintain with that top fan.

Forget the X-32, I wish we could have had at least one flight of the X-33 (completely different types of vehicles, I know, but the X-33 was cool in concept).
