She's still maturing as an adult because her adult role model hasn't fully matured yet. You have an opportunity to help in this maturing process and be a part of her becoming an independent and mature woman. So you should totally put a baby in her, that should fix shite.

Worst possible advice.

This girl's role model for normal for her entire life is insane, dysfunctional and pathetic, AND she doesn't seem overly negative toward it even seemed not to notice it was crazy.

This will not end well and it may not even get bad until much later.

what does the Mom look like? She's very likely going to wind up looking like her. But the emotional angle is just going to be hit or miss so I wouldn't worry about that too much.

Yeah that is the question, and if he knocks her up he'll get to see what kind of mother she'll be and he can make an educated decision.

Knock her up bro, its the only way to know. Don't think about it too much and just put a baby in there and see what happens.

are you dating my ex?

Eta: further details, I bailed for these reasons. She was way too immature and spoiled by her mother. She acted like her mom was a pita to her, but she carried every one of the same traits as her mom.

I mean the GF warned me her mom was like this but never acted like the behaviors bothered her that much, just acknowledged they existed

I mean what can she do about it?

Run. GTFO now.

Listen to someone who is probably at least a couple of decades older then you and seen many women.

In this case pull your dick out of her and run as fricking fast as you can. There will be others who won't make your life as miserable. Trust me.

The fact that her mom is a train wreck and she considers her mom her best friend is concerning

You tend to become close friends with people like you.

There are a lot of factors that go into this, but in my experience - yes. And, markedly so after the wedding.

It should be very clear if she is like her mom or not. You need to evaluate her psychology, not her actions.

If psychologically she matches her mom, run the frick away!

I will never understand why a lot of moms want their daughters to be their best friend rather than their daughter.

I don't either.

It's even more disturbing when they try that when the girl is only 13-14

You are the parent, not the best friend.

this

Also, I'd say it's a 50/50 shot she ends up like her mom. I have 2 sisters and my own mother is crazy. Oldest sister is crazy too, but in a completely different way, Other sister is cool as shite, down to earth and easily the most sane and well rounded of the family.
