I can see how it probably helped Stabs. I thought it was a gay bar before the whole fiasco.

Yeah, the crowd that's regularly dining at a higher end steakhouse doesn't give a crap about stuff like that most likely.

The wife and i went there last night. It was packed. Spoke to one of the owners and he stated there was uptick in business since the protest.

I just had to look up what this was about
Looking at the FB post, I will say, the woman wasn't wrong given one of the waitress did look like she just got picked up off the corner and / or live in Livingston Parish.
In any event, this shite is stupid, just don't go any more. I prefer to not have my name pop up for random shite when people google me / look me up for professional reasons.

I've been there a few times, usually as a guest or I get a gift certificate. For my tastes it is one of the most overpriced places in BR. Especially for brunch, cheap ingredients, high prices, no thanks.
That little "protest" didn't have legs, it was a stupid waste of time.

The protest was lit. Seeing all them BBWs protesting in front of a restaurant was like seeing liberal white women at an abortion rally...they was frickin.

You could care less? Not me, I couldn't care less about petty crap.

My experience is that you didn’t want to work on a Sunday night. Pentecostals come by the dozens and each leave one dollar for a tip. Nobody wanted those Sunday night shifts.

Owners could have handled it better from what I was told.

Such a stupid name for a restaurant
I’d guess Stab’s is the nickname of the previous owner, Wayne Stabiler. You might still think it’s a stupid name!

I wonder how many of the customers at Stabs tonight don't even know this backstory?
Posted on 8/4/24 at 5:17 pm to TheRiver
Sounds like a mobsters hangout! No thanks!

Are the guys that do the radio commercials as fat as they sound?
Not often that you can hear fatness, but after hearing those commercials I’d bet my life on it

OJ owned a restaurant?

I remember OJ's. IT was Cuts, right. His older son helped him a lot, always had blood on his hands.
