Walmart is only 5 miles from my house.

Only one was refunded. 3-5 days to "fix" this.
OMG, the horror!!!
Do you honestly think Tahnesha behind the counter of your local store could process your credit card refund any faster?

I can buy a gift card right now, and poof the money is subtracted from my account. Amazon can't even credit money back to their own gift card in a timely manner.
Bro, refunds taking 3-5 business days is absolutely standard and not just an Amazon thing.
Credit cards take time to process with charges, as well as refunds. The money may “seem” to come right out, but when you actually look at your credit card statement after a purchase it is “pending” for several days before it actually goes through.
The same happens when you request a refund.
Also, it’s not Amazon that’s holding your money for 3-5 business days. It’s your bank/credit card company that’s processing.

You were buying items that are sold out at Amazon from a 3rd party.
You have to check who the actual merchant is in "sold by". Amazon has been ruined by success. I use Walmart online more and more.

Remember when a Prime membership meant 2 day, free shipping as long as your item was listed as "Prime-eligible"? Remember when Amazon actually tried to keep a customer?
Those days are over. That's the point. I don't give a shite where you buy your stuff. Just relaying my story and pointing out their are other options with better customer service. There isn't any value for paying for a Prime membership. Wait over a week to get something that you could have today, and pay the same or even less. Item doesn't work out? You get your money returned immediately vs. fighting with someone named "Jumani" and being told it would be 3-5 days to get your money back.

I love Amazon subscribe and save, so for the reason alone I’ll continue subscribing.
You’re upset and starting a thread over waiting a couple days and a $25 gift card refund?

I can’t even imagine the volume of requests they are receiving right now.

Remember when you kept a pencil and paper near you TV watching spot so you could jot that down that number when the commercial came on so you could call or mail in your order that took two weeks to process and then 6-8 weeks for delivery??? THAT WAS THE STANDARD. AMAZON SET THE NEW STANDARD. Modern customer service sucks. Chat bots suck but almost everyone is using them, certainly all the big retailers are. Use gethuman if you are having issues finding a person.

I'm more mad at Fedex. I needed a part last Friday. Last Wednesday I ordered it next day air. As of today it's still in Memphis

quote:Yep, but my issue really wasn't the delivery speed. When I saw it was going to take over a week to get something I could buy at a local store, I cancelled the order. No big deal. The problem I have is, they charged me for a product that hadn't been shipped, and want me to wait 5 days to put the money back on THEIR GIFT CARD.
