I'm going on one for 7 days in February

I'm pretty excited

And it wasn't cheap. I paid the same as I would have for 5 days in a beach house.

I've had a lot of fun on some of the cruises I've been on. I know that's sacrilege to admit here.

It's a nice cheap vacation that actually separates you from your home life (no phones), lets you get piss arse drunk for a week, and it feels longer than a normal vacation because you have no sense of time.

Everyone keeps saying they are cheap. Ours was 1200 per person. Is that considered cheap these days?

You know Carnival isn't the only cruise line out there right?

i dont know what constitutes a luxury cruise, but my royal Caribbean cruise kicked arse. we had a balcony, got the drink package, had great dinners every night. had a good time in Jamaica and Grand Cayman, didnt really do anything in Cozumel.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Stop being a cheap arse and buying only the bargain deals with all the other Blue Light Special customers. Also, don't sail out of New Orleans or Mobile, and that will solve most of your problems.

Took the family on a Disney cruise in April. Had a great time. While it isn't my first choice in a vacation, I would do it again one day.

Norwegian dawn
Of course. I wasn't getting trapped if the ship starts sinking.
That's booze and tips and whatever else included.
