Yeah, and the wife the next day. I had an expired inspection sticker too by like 2 days and he let me slide with that. It was bs though. I was the only vehicle at a 3 way stop at like 6:45 am and did everything but rock back stop.

You should fight it if you have the time to take a trip downtown or to Mid-City if you live in N.O. The City Attorney may even reduce the charges if you plead to a lesser offense and if you’re lucky and get a nice Judge, like happened to me a couple years ago, they will waive late fees and fines and make you pay court costs only.

I paid $278 for 70 in a 55. Only ticket I ever got.
