Well he sounds competent.

Right? He is at least morally sound, as he self reported both. I think $1000-1500 was the total damage of both driveway incidents. I would be curious on his blood alcohol figures from that day

He’s probably going home to take a shite. They can’t turn that shite off because the electronics would drain the battery.

No body wants to shite in public, let alone a cop with a duty belt. Also you can go home to take lunches/dinner.

The poster above talking about keeping the car running. It’s easier to respond to a call with it running. Also the equipment is bitch to turn on. The dash video after being powered off takes anywhere from 30-60 seconds to kick back on.

If a cop was running code and the camera wasn’t kicked on right away and killed someone or did something else. That cop would be crucified by the department and public. Many Leo’s carry a body camera and voice recorder in case on dies or fails.

Well joke would be on him since all police cars have GPS in them now.

No they don’t.

Actually yes they do. At least any decent sized departments marked patrol units do. Given that his car is full of electronics per the OP this doesn’t sound like Mayberry. The GPS is part of the radio system. BRPD and EBRSO have GPS. You can read the current stories on the three city officers that got busted because of it when they were clocking in for entire shifts and never leaving Livingston Parish.

He's banging your wife while you're mesmerized by the colorful lights in his car.

Don’t know how true that is but that’s what was posted.

Seems like it’d be a kinda dumb thing to lie about.

You know, certain restaurants and hotel lobbies have very clean restrooms. I will often visit one of the sites I have identified as such, while out and about when the urge strikes, to take a relaxing dump in a clean environment. Works for me!

I'm usually fairly critical of law enforcement agents because I have such a serious respect for the rule of law in our Republic but if he's stopping off to take a dump at his house then I can absolutely sympathize and I would deem that an authorized use of tax payer dollars
