Bought one for someone last Christmas. It was cedar and also 5 ft. Spent about the same amount...that's not bad, I don't think.

I bought one from a local farmers market with a foldable cup holder in the middle for 170 a year ago. I thought it was a good price.

Not sure how big your gf is to need a 5' swing but it seems sturdy enough to hold her. That's good wood. Thoughtful gift for sure. Make sure you have some heavy load bearing beams to hang it from. No matter how big of a girl she is she still has feelings and wouldn't wanna have her fall.
