Catholics don’t worship Mary
Pope Pius XII would disagree:
“Enraptured by the splendor of your heavenly beauty and impelled by the anxieties of the world, we cast ourselves into your arms, O Immaculate Mother of Jesus and our Mother. Mary, we adore and praise the peerless richness of the sublime gifts with which God has filled you above every other mere creature from the moment of conception until the day on which, after your assumption into Heaven, He crowned you Queen of the Universe”…and on it goes.

So how did the earliest Christians function?
You mean the ones Paul, the Apostles and Luke wrote their letters to and went around ministering to?

No, I don't think he would disagree with me.

You’re just ignorant. He is obviously abdicating for worshipping Mary and even heretically promoting the notion of her “assumption” into Heaven. Just own it, brother. With a title like Pius, why do you not believe him?

The Apostles didn't write anything to anyone. But yeah, what did those Christians rely on during the, oh, at least 50 years before some of those letters were written? What authority did they have?
And the Catholics that you dislike so much were the ones who chose which letters were put into your scriptures.

He's not "advocating" for worshipping Mary.

Not dislike... just disagree with.

Then who were their books addressed to? Just written to be written?

Chapter and verse?
The early Catholic Church wrote the Bible (the New Testament. The Old Testament was borrowed from Judaism).
Therefore, it’s not very smart to try to use the Bible against the Catholic Church.

The original sin stuff is just flowery bullshite.
Mary provided the uterus for the space alien Elohim (plural) to artificially inseminate her with Jesus, whom what the result of decades of trying unsuccessfully.
After he was murdered, the bastards came back and stole the body so they could continue the experiment.
Everyone knows this. Jeez.
So technically she was a virgin who rode poor Joeseph’s arse, all the way back to Bethlehem for the census.

Fair enough.

Most scholars doubt the authorship of most of them. Maybe some of the Pauline epistles were actually written by the Paul.

No, I don't.

Ok, can you point to the chapter and verse that ever even tangentially confirms Mary’s sinlessness?

They weren’t “Christians” then. Just followers of a gnostic sect.
It wasn’t even until the council of 325 AD that Jesus was elected by majority vote, to be sworn in as the son of god.
Of course, this was after the other anti-son-of-god delegates were murdered between votes.
Do you people even history???

He doesn’t have any verse(s). He’s too busy looking for autocorrects. He’s stalling and changing the subject. Bottom line, Catholics worship Mary, who was just as sinful and needing of a Savior as anyone else. She had other children (Matthew 13:55 & 56). She died and was not “assumed” into Heaven. She will be judged just like we will be.
