noose

To be clear, it wasn't a noose in the executioner sense. It was a looped/knotted bit of a thin rope, from the reports I've seen.

If the attack was outside how they "pour" bleach on him?

Dealing in facts only:
- Jussie Smollett refuses to cooperate with police
- He is famously anti-Trump
- His story keeps shifting
- It was -8 with wind chill at 2am on Tuesday
- He said he was on his phone during the attack but won’t release record
- There is no video evidence

Harris was the goddamn AG of the most populated state in the country and she's skipping the entire investigation process to push this nonsense.

Well she didnt defend the voters of that same state as AG, when they voted "no" on gay marriage, and it went up the court carousel. Soooooo...

...still surprised??

Ohhh, and if you still are, remember she fricked her way up the political ladder...

I don't think the bleach being frozen is the way to attack his story as BS. I'm guessing the bottle would have had to be out in that weather for at least a couple of hours before it would freeze and not be able to pour

Do you have any clue how fast stuff freezes at -16°?

This dude is completely full of shite. Anyone with a brain can see that. Refusing to turn over his phone is the most damning evidence

Would there also not be some clothes with bleached spots on them as evidence as well if he actually had some poured on him?

Early on the newspaper reports said the police had looked for a container for the bleach and had found none on the streets he reported walking on.

Not exactly, but I've been in -10 and I don't remember water just freezing right in front of me. Also, I didn't think the sub zero temperatures had hit yet that night

Liquids sitting in the cold of course, but there was an actionable action of actually moving so it wouldn't freeze.

Either way, story is bogus and he can DIAF

True, and his story is complete BS, but the bleach being frozen is pretty shaky. Now, the lack of bleached spots on any clothing is a lot more telling to me

The neighbor's redneck sighting happened at midnight when her dogs needed to go out. That was at least ninty frigid minutes before JS was at the same location.

I am not concerned with the temperature of the bleach. My concern is how in the hell did gloved or mittened hands open the top of any jar of bleach (home or pool)? Either requires the container be held firmly and someone tightly grip the lid, push down and turn it at the same time. Try doing that with big fluffy gloves.

Refreshing to see a video like that where a person uses their brain and logic. Good on him.

Not gonna read this thread... but did they ever figure out the truth about this story?

Here’s the answer. It was White (supremacist) Walkers.

wtf

There are plenty of reasons to doubt this story, but asking how someone opened a bottle with fluffy mittens is not one of them.

Go after the real holes, not this.

I mean the whole thing is ridiculous. They made up caricatures that don’t exist and then made them do the most ridiculous thing possible at the most implausible time.

These are investigators working the case at this point, not regular patrol. Support for the homeless and daily crime shouldn’t be impacted.

That said, it’s still a waste of resources.

I agree. But during times like they were having there should be an "all hands on deck no matter what your reg job entails," mentality. From the top down. Roll up your sleeves, and get out there. Making sure all get thru the times right. Not chasing a hoax or what really is a low level crime considering the city. Especially when there are so many unsolved murders in that city.

I would like to hear how many actual major crimes happened during this cold snap the last few days. If the true thugs took a break, but not white people.

Not arguing, as I know you mostly agree, but just crazy. As none of us in major cities down here in the south are safe from this kind of thing taking over.
