He was already on the verge of getting written off the show before he pulled this hoax...where was his career heading?

No advertisers are going to get on board with this clown. Television shows are totally dependent on marketing dollars. He is too much of a risk for any network and probably always will be.

You're Im sure he'll get a job on a talk radio show or something...maybe a role in a broadway musical...maybe as an extra on low budget Lifetime movies

Tyler Perry movies and shite like that don't need advertising dollars.

There is so much low budget all black crap being put out these days.

Just watch, in 2 years he'll have credits in stuff like that for minor roles.

Remember all the Kobe Bryant commercials before his rape accusation? He was just as marketable as Peyton.

When is the last time Kobe was in a commercial? He hasn't been and he wasn't even convicted.

Advertisers do not take risks and Smollet is a major risk. Even if he is found not guilty his acting career is done because he isn't a marketable person.

You are full of crap. Does Tyler Perry finance all his production and promotional costs by himself? No!!! That is corporate dollars that allows him to make those movies.

You're thinking in the near term. This will blow over soon and he'll be back on his feet. Van Jones was calling him the Jackie Robinson of gay acceptance yesterday for Christ's sake.

My kids middle school class was forced to watch “Tyler Perry’s Here’s Why I Hate White People 4”

I’m pretty outraged

Sure he endorses products, but not in television commercials. That's where the big money is. He used to be in Sprite, McDonalds and Nike commercials if I remember correctly.
