You know the CPD had an office pool going on whether or not this was a hoax. If everyday people without having the benefit of knowing inside information of the case could tell it was fake, you know police detectives saw right through this shite.

Only later, when the story started falling apart for the obvious hoax it was, did you start saying things like "let's wait for the facts."
