You would think there has to be something set aside for those situations

Should be addressed. Period. Luckily she has the means to do it and also managed to help another family in the process with the same civil suit.

Not one thing. I just believe that today's "journalists" are corrupt and groomers. No respect for their trade. Completely unprofessional.

Good but she should have gotten $16B with the cops personally footing the bill.

I'm sure they have a stop/loss agreement where an insurance company will step in. But guess what that will do? Increase their premium. Guess who pays for the premium? The libtards in Cali.

No the frick I wouldn't. I watched that movie and understand the hustle.

They sign up for that when they become rich and famous.

Everyone here has seen Paul Walker's crispy corpse.

I think if you are a public figure that banks off of your public image then you are basically asking for zero privacy. You are compensated well for it either by attention or money. Most people just love the attention until it is bad. You cannot have it both ways.

I always see people who post non-stop on facebook or are non-stop in media complain about haters or being in the public eye. It is so confusing.

What a sham. The woman he raped and jizzed on was given $2.5 million.

She would have gotten $16M but she had to divide it by the number lithe men's semen found inside her.

If there is a vehicle accident or some other situation in which a body ends up in an unusual place or just a WTF situation, as sick as it is, it would have value to some websites/news outlets.

A picture of something rare or unique has some value especially for sites looking for new content that doesn't cost as much as something involving someone famous.

Has anyone watched the Netflix document "the most hated man on the internet". While I haven't finished it, its about this dude who ran a website back 2012 (I am not sure when he started, but that's when a picture of a girl, that was hacked from her phone, was posted on the website and her mother was relentless in trying to get it taken down, which ended up being a legal situation)..

No one should be able to profit from content they were not given permission to use and you have to protect some since of privacy. And the last thing a first responder should be worried about is taking pictures of the deceased on a site they are responding to.

The media doesn't have boundaries so any legal action that will keep them in check is good.

Eh, some medical professionals cope with the horrors they see in weird ways.
