This was obvious to anyone with a brain who didn't want to go by memes because they "felt like the right thing to do"
Charles Barkley and Shaq were the biggest ones to come out and say it but of course no one heard it other than basketball fans.

Just in time for the media to cover miscreants destroying a city instead of a huge shift in the political landscape with RFK, a Kennedy and a Democrat, dropping out to endorse Trump.

I’m not for bad warrants or no-knock raids unless it’s, like, to save a kidnapped child or something else that would warrant them. Those are the real issues that were buried by the media who put out the story that racist cops killed an innocent, unarmed woman because she was black. I think she was a victim of a corrupt system and a criminal boyfriend. Maybe a knock would have allowed her to seek cover. But the narrative just fueled the black vs white thing instead of leading to real change.
I’ll add that she definitely had some criminal behavior herself… or at best, she seemed to exclusively be with people who were involved in criminal behavior, but agree with the above.
Much like Floyd and others, no they didnt deserve death and I don’t wish death on anybody but continually doing dumb shite and resisting arrest is the definition of playing stupid games.

More than corrupt criminals like St. Floyd.
Due process, dipshit.
Go move to a state with Sharia Law that you lust for so badly.

So a misdemeanor for lying on a warrant that resulted in someone’s death.
The bad warrant wasn’t why she was killed, her boyfriend firing at police was the reason. Giving criminals the idea that it is ok to shoot at police because they might have a bad warrant is not a good thing.
The whole situation sucks and hopefully those cops never work another day in law enforcement.

At best, she fell for “bad boys” and got mixed up in their crimes. If they had knocked, maybe she would have been found guilty of some kind of accessory charge. Depends on if she knew about the murder or what her role was, if any. It seems that they could have found a way to get in touch with her that would have been less violent. Also, the boyfriend who shot at the cops probably either thought it was her crazy ex who puts bodies in trunks, or, if he was the one who did it, thought it was payback. Guys creeping around the house with guns was a bad choice.

FIFY.
And that applies to how plenty of both black and white folks feel about it.

I run with a thug selling drugs and get killed - who knew.

know folks here will be all about this because of the protests after her death, but I can’t say I’m a fan of setting the precedent that it’s ok to falsify information on a warrant (which is what Jaynes did) to even have the raid in the first place.
Agree

When do the peaceful protest start

I might be willing to do it if this corrupt, immoral bullshite continues. Bunch damn thugs running around.

In this case some of the thugs wore uniforms.
Taylor’s bf was certainly in the same category and contributed to this, but the Judge almost held him to a higher standard than the cops.
Plenty of bad actors here, but some were supposed to be professionals.

Right
Also always thought it was weird to see the 2A crowd side with the idea that someone can bust down your door and you’re not supposed to shoot them

Good.
Free Chauvin, the people who were white and in DC on January 6th, 2021 and we might return to somewhat sanity in our legal system.
Got a few thousand criminals to punish and a few million immigrants to handle but this is a tiny step in the right direction.

I may be misremembering but wasn’t the reason why they used a no knock warrant for this guy is because he had resisted arrest and run from police before and was known to be violent and had unlicensed firearms?
