TPOS cop...

quote:

The video picks up at an earlier point than the previously-released one. This video shows Deputy Nicholas Breaux and Brady Becker both on the ground. As the two start to get up, it appears to show Breaux throw Becker to the ground. The next sequence includes Breaux punching Becker several times, similar to the previous video.

Brady Becker suffered visible injuries from the punches and his case has been a cause célèbre in the news as Becker's family and his attorney held press conferences to denounce the physical arrest.

You can take one look at that kid and tell he is a douchebag. Probably deserved the beating.

Unless the cop had a history of this he wont get paid nearly as much as you think.

so the kid is geting up (pulled up with the cops assitance) and then is promptly tossed on the ground and punched in the face several times because his hands are trying to protect himself which is natural human reaction when getting punched in the face. It's pretty tough to tell your brain "hey this is a cop that is tossing me around like a rag doll, i better submit now before he...no wait he's punching me in the face repeatedly"

The guy is a trained MMA fighter and he couldn't subdue a fricking scrawny 17 year old kid!? Must be a shitty MMA fighter.

I'm not saying the kid isn't mos likely a TPOS who deserved every punch he got, but as a cop you have to hold yourself to a higher standard than this.

Back in 2009 this cop was involved in a brutality case in which the victim was paid out of court........

JPSO has already settled a suit against said cop like a year ago.

Looked like the cop was considering drawing his weapon when the girl that was screaming got closer. He kept his hand on it for several seconds.

did you catch his press conf yesterday? it was pretty funny. They always rely on "what the video doesn't show is...." This is the common lament of police misconduct. Everyone trusts a police officer and the office protects them at all costs. It's precisely why bad cops exist.

Like i said, this kid obviously had a beating coming to him. You don't taunt cops in any manner or give them a reason, it's that simple.

HOWEVER, the cop had no right to do what he did to "diffuse" that situation. The force was excessive and unnecessary. The cop has a history of this and needs to be stripped of his badge. Let him go be an MMA fighter since he moonlights as that already.
