this begs the question...how many times exactly have you been shot in the leg?

Since we are being all nitpicky, what does the word exactly add to your question?

"How many times have you been shot in the leg?" asks for the number of leg hits, from a firearm, he has taken.

Wouldn't a truthful answer be exact already?

Ed Zachary disease, and whatnot.

The officer arrived at the scene where a woman said the man involved in the disturbance fled the home. The officer went into the backyard and found the man, who fired two shots at the officer and hit him in the right thigh. The officer returned fired and hit the man before retreating.

A perimeter was setup in the neighborhood, and people were evacuated from some homes. A K-9 unit tracked a blood trail that then brought officers to a home in the 3500 block of 46th Street where another perimeter was setup.

Officers searched around the home, and the K-9 unit led officers to the rear of the home where the man was found. Normand said officers told the man to drop his weapon. Instead the man raised his weapon, and the officers shot the man dead.

True that. But I'll still order the occasional Bud Lite if the happy hour special is right.
