My nephew's elementary starts their baseball season tonight playing in a tournament so I will probably go watch one of his games tomorrow. I am debating on whether or not I am going to go to the basketball game tomorrow.
Sunday I don't have anything concrete, but been talking about going up to St Francisville to eat at The Francis, but who knows what will come up between not and then. What about you?

not much man.
cold damp weather all weekend forecasted here. not exactly ideal for a toddler to play or do outside activities. I’ll probably knock out some yard work at some point tho.
So probably my a lot of sitting around. Might smoke some chickens. Wife said she wants to cook a stew. Will watch some basketball, baseball, and probably Mayor of Kingstown.

Biden only has authority over BLM leases so it's not as big a deal as it seems.
We're not drilling as much as we can because we don't need to. Plenty of West Texas production is just rolling along with new drills happening as needed. If it absolutely came down to it, we could ramp production up like crazy, and Biden really couldn't do much to stop it. States have all the power there, especially Texas with the PSL and UL lands.

Lease sales on federal land/water where production is years from coming online (if it comes online all) and an expansion of a single pipeline have a negligible effect on current global oil prices. Prices are high due to the global demand recovery outpacing current supply. Production cratered in 2020 amid the shutdowns and companies are using revenue to pay down debt and shareholders instead of investing it in new production (which shareholders have been demanding of the industry for YEARS). Then you have OPEC not pumping at full strength on top of it. Though I know none of this matters to people who want to see everything through a political lens.

I need to start watching 1883. I got paramount to watch Mayor of Kingstown and 1883. I finished Mayor of Kingstown the first week of the year.. And haven't made time to watch 1883. I might start it Sunday now that I am thinking about it.
